Counselors' Information Center

The Counselors' Information Center (CIC) gives you access to information about your students’ applications including education history, required items, and application status for all Rutgers schools they have applied to (each year by the second week in October). The CIC also allows you to manage your counselor profile and update contact information for your school. This restricted site requires a Rutgers CommunityID for login authentication purposes. 

You can only be granted access to the Counselors' Information Center if you are employed by a high school with an assigned CEEB code.

Standardized Testing Requirement

SAT and ACT test scores are not required to be considered for admission to Rutgers University.

  • Rutgers–Camden: Test score submission is optional. Some exceptions apply.
  • Rutgers–New Brunswick: Test score submission is optional.
  • Rutgers–Newark: Test scores submission is not required. Some exceptions apply.

If a student elects to submit SAT or ACT scores, all scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to Rutgers. Rutgers University school codes:
